A one-day excursion to the beautiful Blue Lagoon and the nearby port of Maslinica.

Departure at 9:00h to 18:00h from Trogir Zudika park or Split to Blue Lagoon.

The drive to the Blue Lagoon takes about thirty minutes.

Departure by speedboat from Trogir enables a beautiful view of the old heritage of Trogir and the creation of beautiful photos of cultural sights such as Trogir’s southern old gate, the old tower Kamerlengo 15th-century castle.

Driving through Trogir with a boat is very interesting.

After leaving the Trogir maritime archipelago, we headed towards Vela Rina, a place for a boat tour away from crowds and mass tourism.
This is the place where our parents went on vacation in this area on the Adriatic. The place does not need to be further described, simply a beautiful bay without restaurants and bars.

We started with a beautiful bay on Drvenik Mali, a traditional Adriatic island, and we will continue towards Drvenik Veliki , Solinska bay. Another one of several beautiful bays hidden by the Croatian Adriatic coast.
The bay of Solinska is located near the blue lagoon, just a 10-minute speedboat ride away.

Blue Lagoon, how to describe it?

To get to the blue lagoon, it is necessary to come by boat. There is no other option. Boat rental or an organized tour with a boat/speedboat are the only options.

The place is a special attraction. If you are in the area of ​​Trogir or Split, you must see it. Local beaches are good but this one is super good.

Blue Lagoon  is a beach surrounded by two islands created for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing.

You can swim from the boat or from the shore, it doesn’t matter. The sea is super clean.

There are several beach bars on the coast where you can refresh yourself and have a drink. In addition to the bars, there is also a luxurious restaurant that offers fresh local food, local fish and meat.

After visiting the blue lagoon, it is nice to go to the neighboring island of Šolta, more precisely the place is called Maslinica.

The port of Maslinica is only 25 minutes away from blue lagoon. A nice place for a walk and a coffee.

Maslinica it’s a old port surrounded by the islands and sandy beaches with nice restaurants and trendy bars. If you like to order eat something traditional, just do it.

We would definitely recommend you to visit the local restaurants here. The prices are affordable and the atmosphere is like being on an island, relaxing.

Both places Blue Lagoon and Maslinica are great to see Dalmatian life as it’s truly lived.

After these two, we have time for one more stop on the island of Čiovo. Uvala Labaduza is a very nice place to say goodbye to island life habits.
